Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Salary: Up to £38,000
Location: Bedford
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 7am to 4am and Friday 7am to 12pm)

What you’ll be doing:
· Produce stainless steel products to expected standards of quality, on time and in full, in order to meet customer expectations.
· The safe and efficient operating and setting of Press Brakes
· Minor maintenance of press brake machines
· Use of various hand tools and sheet metal machinery in the fabrication and finishing of materials (training will be provided)
· Working of stainless-steel components 1.00mm to 5.00mm thickness
What we are looking for:
- Full proficiency use of operating and setting Press Brakes
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Good level of numeracy and literacy and the ability to inspect work using vernier caliper, tapes and rules
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work unsupervised with the desire and determination to succeed, achieve manufacturing goals and company aspirations
- Physical ability for manual handling (lifting and carrying goods)
- Any other Sheetmetal experience would be advantageous but not essential (Welding, CNC, Finishing Tools)
